Tuesday Afternoon: Optional Activities
Tuesday, April 16th, is our conference half-day. For the afternoon, we have made arrangements with several tour companies offering local attractions and activities in the Destin area. Listed below are several options incuding deep-sea fishing, sailing, and golfing for you to enjoy. DEEP-SEA FISHING with Captain LW
Boat Departure Time: 2 p.m. from Destin Harbor
Trip Length: 4 hours
Cost: $162.50 per person.
Fish targeted are typically various snapper species, trigger fish, and various species of grouper. Your trip includes the guide, boat, Florida fishing license, bait, tackle, fish filleting, freezer bags and ice. We will have access to four fishing boats, 4 people per boat.
A deposit of $25 will be collected when you check-in for the conference at the Hilton. The remaining balance of $137.50 will be paid to Captain LW at dockside. Credit cards are accepted, but will be assessed a 5% surcharge. A 15-passenger van will be available at the Hilton to transport you to and from the Destin Harbor.
SAILING with Captain Bonny Todd
Boat Departure Time: 2 p.m. from Destin Harbor
Trip Length: 2 hours
Cost: $62.50 per person.
Destin sailing charters will allow you to see the Emerald Coast from a different perspective, as we set sail from the Destin Harbor. Sail into the Gulf of Mexico or Choctawhatchee Bay and watch for Dolphins. Relax for a few hours under the bimini, sunbathe on deck, or trim the sails on your private charter. Some snacks and soft drinks are provided, you may bring food and drink aboard – please no red wine.
The cost is $62.50 per person for 4 people and will be paid to Captain Bonny Todd at dockside. A 15-passenger van will be available at the Hilton to transport you to and from the Destin Harbor.
GOLF at Sandestin
The Sandestin Resort is home to 2,400 acres and several unique and charming courses from which to choose. Below are the contact numbers, website to reserve your individual tee times, and the rates for these courses. Please note, 7% Sales Tax is NOT included in the pricing below.
